still being updated, really? can you cite that?
(not trying to challenge, per se -- just i loaded up XP and tried to put ffox v3.6 on it and it wouldn't and instead wanted me to get ffox v11)

what about "i prefer flash" link below the audio/video?
does that help, maybe? (in case the html5 portion is getting tripped up in ffox 3.6)

Yes, Firefox 3.6 is still being updated. Version 3.6.28 was released on 13 March 2012.

I have no problem running Firefox 3.6 on my WinXP PC at the office. Here is the download page:

In the past when I have tried the "I prefer flash" link, it has not helped.

thx for the tip/info!

(and yes, due to this bugginess in the JS API to the player we use for firefox v3.6, unfortunately I think the "I prefer flash" link may have still have had issues, even when it was preferred/detected first. glad that we have a workaround in place now!)
